A wallcovering project can begin in many different places.
You may have saved an inspiration image but have no idea who makes the material. You may already have a sample selected by your interior designer. You may own a Maui property from thousands of miles away and need someone locally to coordinate the process. Or the wallcovering may already be sitting in your home waiting to be installed.
Maui Wall Coverings can enter the project at any of those points.
Our role is to connect the pieces that are often handled separately:
Design → Product → Technical Review → Estimating → Procurement → Site Coordination → Installation → Completion
You do not need to become a wallcovering expert to manage the project. That is our role.
There is no requirement to arrive at MWC with a completed specification.
Some clients begin with nothing more than a photograph of a room. Others arrive with architectural drawings, finish schedules and products already specified.
A homeowner may need significant design assistance while an interior designer may only need sourcing, procurement or installation support.
The process adapts to the project. The objective is to determine what has already been decided, what still needs to be resolved and where MWC can provide value.

Color, scale, texture, sheen and natural variation can be difficult to evaluate accurately from a screen.
Physical samples allow the product to be considered alongside flooring, cabinetry, stone, fabrics, furniture and other finishes in the room.

Sometimes a sample is enough. Sometimes the client needs to see more.
A large-scale pattern, mural or unfamiliar material can be difficult to imagine from a small sample alone.
MWC can provide visualization and rendering assistance when appropriate to help clients understand how a selected wallcovering may relate to the architecture and overall room.
Visualization is not intended to replace physical samples. It helps bridge the gap between the sample and the space.
Once the design direction has been established, the product still needs to make sense for the actual project.
This is where wallcovering becomes more than decoration.
MWC reviews relevant product information and project conditions before moving the wallcovering forward.
The detailed specification process is intentionally not published as a checklist because different materials, rooms and properties can require different considerations.
